Our Go Bag mission began unexpectantly. Coming home from a restful vacation, we were preparing to land at Chicago 's O'Hare airport when the plane suddenly loomed upward. At that moment disaster was on our minds! Because we live in California , when we think of disaster we automatically think earthquake. We decided then and there to make disaster ready kits for our six children and their families. We soon realized that there were many parents who wanted to safeguard their families as well.
